Make your Rental a Success

With so many choices for your bounce house needs make sure you make your home ready for the inflatable. Put the dog’s away, move any yard toys that will get in the way and have your grass cut and edged at least 2 days before the party.

Are you a first time Bounce House renter?

If this is your first time then here are some tips to make sure you get it right?

1. Have an area of 12 x 12 foot clear for on of the mini bounce houses and 15 x 16 foot clear for one of the medium bounce houses.
2. If you have a WATER SLIDE booked then you need 14 feet by 18 feet on the ground
3. Have electricity within 50 feet from the location. If at a park check the power outlet works
4. Be at the site, at least an hour before the time you booked it in
5. Have an adult ready to be trained on the inflatable bounce house or Water Slide operations
6. Be prepared to see lots of smiles and hear lots of laughs and expect the kids to sleep

It is difficult to pick the company to rent from

There are plenty of operators out there renting these bounce houses. Commonly called moonwalks, space jumps, jumpers and jumping castles. How do you separate the good from the bad (or not so good)

Here is a list of shopping tips that you will find useful

• make sure the company you rent from supplies 2 covers. There needs to be one for the sun and one for the rain. If they don’t have 2 covers you will find yourself in a situation on the day if the wether is extreme in either direction.
• When your calling around if they don’t answer the phone then I would bet they wont answer on the weekend. SO only go with companies that do answer the phone and answering machines wont help you out if you find yourself in a situation on the weekend
• Insurance, is is worldwide practice that you should only rent a bounce hosue if they carry public liability insurance. Ask the company as 70% don’t and they have the fingers crossed on every rental.
• THE BIG ONE. Only rent a bounce house if it has inflatable walls. Some companies carry the netted walled castle which means no child can bounce into or onto those walls without it tipping over. These netted walled castles are banned in over 50 countries so take the advice from around the GLOBE and say no to netted walls.
